I was born in a little town called Mazatenango in Guatemala, where I was raised by my mother and grandmother. From them, I learned life lessons, values, and wisdom shaped by their experiences—ranging from the aftermath of the World Wars and the Spanish flu to 36 years of internal conflict and the massive 1976 earthquake.
I’ve been married for almost 15 years to a wonderful woman who has brought many blessings into my life. Together, we’ve built a loving family with our two children.
Even though I had the option to work in a small business in my hometown, I chose to pursue a professional career with multinational companies. Over the past 17 years, I’ve worked across industries including Food & Beverage, Metallurgical, Telecommunications, and Paper.
I now feel grateful and blessed to be part of the Kawok Project in Guatemala as the Head of Procurement and Logistics.
