I joined here in May 1990, and these 32 years have felt just like home. There was never any hesitation in speaking with anyone—everyone was approachable, and even the MD always encouraged open conversation. I faced many struggles along the way, but I kept giving my best, and was honoured with the Best Worker award—something I’m truly proud of and have framed at home. Now that I’m retiring, I plan to spend some time with myself and my family, and then look for something new to keep my hands and mind busy. Sitting idle has never been my way. Pakka has always stood by me—through every high and low, like a constant companion. It gave me not just work, but identity, relationships, and countless memories. This place has shaped a big part of my life and who I am today. Even though I’m stepping away from my daily routine here, my connection with Pakka will always stay alive. I may be leaving the gate, but my heart will never really go far from it.
