Exploring the future of sustainability

August was another month full of learning and excitement for the Good Garbage podcast! 

It started as we were joined for a conversation with Sunder Balakrishnan, General Manager of Natur Tec India. Ved and Sunder talked about the world of biopolymers – exploring the challenges and innovations shaping industry. 

From the intricacies of sourcing biopolymers in India to the evolving landscape of sustainable materials, Sunder shared his insights from his 20-year journey in the field.  

Our latest episode was with Sigrid Svedberg, co-founder of EVLR International. EVLR International, is a Stockholm-based pioneer in wood fibre solutions, they have launched the creation of FibreStrap—a biodegradable, recyclable alternative to plastic cable ties, designed to protect ecosystems and combat microplastic pollution.  

This conversation included Sigrid growing up on a biodynamic farm in Sweden, to leading innovations in the packaging industry.
